You do realise that the best player in a 4 star team will stand out like any of those players you mention when playing against 3 star teams because it is RELATIVE. Compared to players in a 3 star team, the 4 star team players become those "great players" you speak of.

4 star teams are so overpowered. They should be banned. Fiorentina v Blackpool is such a mismatch. I am outraged as I only play with Blackpool.

No one doubts that Spain v Arsenal is more of a mismatch than Aston Villa v Arsenal, but then again, no one is forcing you to play with a 4 and a half star team.

@Todd, the gap between 4.0 and 3.5 is, in essence, arbitrary because I can make the same argument about the gap between half star teams and 4 star teams. I was merely using it as my initial example.

You do realise that the lower star teams have weaker players in the squads, right? The point I'm trying to make is that the difference between Arsenal (4.5) and Spain (5) is immense, from players right through to chemistry but yet there is a only a 0.5 star difference. There is not this big of a gap between Blackpool and Fiorentina.

But if you think there is not that much of a difference between Fiorentina and Blackpool, then I suggest you play with these teams. Regardless, the gap between 4 and a half or even 4 star teams and a half star team is much much worse than that of Spain and Arsenal. So I must ask you, if people on the ladder started playing with half star teams, would they have a right to complain that the 4.5/4 star teams are overpowered?

Moreover, you still seem to be fixated with the use of 4 and a half star teams against Spain. Why not play as Spain yourself? Because it is unfair? Because it is cheap?

An invalid point again. If we banned 5 star teams you'd just change your list of players to people like Pato, Ibra, Robinho, Ribery, Walcott, Van Persie etc. There is always a next tier of players waiting to replace the ones you ban.

By the way, the gap between 3.5 and 4 stars is actually significantly bigger. That's the stage where your defenders have such slow reactions that all the opposition has to do is mash 1-2's and it's gg.

You wanted logical reasons for why we shouldn't ban teams and we've given you plenty, yet you still haven't given us a logical reason for why allowing everyone to use whatever team they like is unfair.

i dont think they should ban i think it will be better for variety if CG picked a star level both players have to play at (just like in cod how u pick maps) that way im not always vsing someone whos either real or chelsea, coz that shit just gets old

We will see Todd. Though as you can see from my recent results, my form on xbox is pretty poor of late because I've been playing on playstation which makes xbox feel unresponsive and slow. Should be a good game though and I can guarantee you one thing: no matter what the result, I won't be blaming the teams
