Overnight while I was playing I realized that shit was going down and i couldn't find any other threads.

First time I noticed was when I was playing SD on Highrise and when me and my friend were riot shielding and we noticed a sniper straight ahead so we advanced slowly towards him. In 5 seconds he'd killed us both and the rest of our team who were behind us. The killcam showed him quickscoping the whole team, even getting us through our riot shields.

Start of the next round i was killed from spawn as well as some other guy, apparently it was a headshot collateral that was literally impossible. The killcam started at the beginning of the round so I noticed that it had on his screen "Admin *something something*" at the top and a list of commands below it that he chose from then he just shot randomly and killed us.

Next round it was obvious the guy was aimboting, he got the round winning kill and we saw on the replay that he was just spinning around and shot the ground.

So I took to my headset and hurled some good ol' fashion abuse which was a bad idea cause i must have pissed the guy off because as next round i died instantly and i was spectating the next guy and it had on the screen (Not sure if it was the guy's screen I was spectating or mine) "Unlocking Challenges..." and my screen froze, and i was forced to restart my PS3.

So when i got back on MW2 after I restarted me and my mate decided to do some investigating and we were joining matches looking for these hackers since we figured out they the clan tag ({++}} so we thought we would try this out, but when we did a message came up saying "The text is blank or you have entered illegal characters" which we thought confirmed our theory that people with this Clan Tag were hackers as people aren't allowed to have such a clan tag, so how did they do it? ({@@}) was another tag we noticed.

We entered a new game on Wasteland and I was the last alive on my team and found the last alive on their team so i started firing with my Intervention. I got several hit markers and eventually the guy made his way towards me so i pulled out my Raffica and fired away, more hitmarkers. Before i emptied all my ammo on a guy that was standing in front of me, mocking me as clearly he can't die and he knows, i realized this so i just stood there and waited for him to kill me. His PSN was "JL_Flash" if i remember correctly but anyway, next round my mate was the last alive and he was going off at the guy inbetween the round and obviously he didn't seem to like the abuse, so they changed my mate's screen to thermal (and this isn't him bullshitting, everyone that was spectating on my team saw this), then apparently my mate (I was on the phone with him) told me he was paralyzed and couldn't move and that a message came on his screen that said "You are the Exorcist" (I didn't see this, it was only on his screen but how can you make up something like that?) and eventually they killed him.

Back in the lobby my mate was going off at them on his mic, and they then threatened him with removing his challenges or something like that, then they were asking if my mate had "all the titles". Eventually they said they were going to stuff up his PS3, so it was then that my mate went to leave the lobby as we both realized that these guys were for real since they already froze my PS3 previously and had just done the same to him.

My friend started up his PS3 again and we were playing SD like normal, and during a game he switched to his secondary which has always been USP Akimbo, however when he switched it was just one USP. Also in the game my friend completed the challenge "NBK", but he had already done this before. We left the game cause we realized shit was going down and when he went to re-equip USP Akimbo back tho his class, apparently he hadn't unlocked it. My mate checked all his challenges and they had been erased, everything from Basic Training to weapon attachments had been reset, so everything was back to the start. The hackers had indeed removed all his challenges. He checked all his titles and they were still their, even the one's that require challenges to be completed in order to get them, which made us think that the hacker was asking if "all his titles were their" cause he was trying to remove them as well, his name was Jizznation or something like that.

We then split up into different servers looking for hackers, and my mate found one so I joined and the hacker had infinte stelath bombers and emergency airdrops that were dropping a shitload of crates and he was standing atop what was like 100 care packages all stacked into a rectangle. Apparently my friend said earlier that he was literally an AC130, he transformed into one and was flying around manually shooting people, no joke.

I also found on another server this hacker who was glowing green and he killed people with one shot and in the bottom left of the screen the icon for the gun he used to kill the person was some weird shit we'd never seen before.

Also I discovered in another server that the hackers can change maps since one of them was asking people what map they wanted so he then changed it accordingly.

And perhaps most importantly when we were in the pre-game lobby, people were asking one of the hackers if "He could give them any hacks for free" to which he replied "No".

Overnight there were articles of this new PS3 hack which I started doing some research on, and I think the two could be related, but the news of the hack was mostly focusing on the pirating and Linux/Other OS issues, but there is room for people to come up with their own applications apparently.

Like I said I have video's from when I was recording but I haven't uploaded them since I recorded them in like 10 minute chunks, but I will eventually. I know this was a lot of reading so i'm sorry, but I wanted to type all the information I had.

It was obviously a ranked challenge lobby. Not much you can do about it.

I stayed around for a bit just to see what was going on, but later on I was on the team of the admin or whoever is in charge so it was pretty good.

its people like this who kill call of duty mw2 screwd it for all cods due to challenge lobby if mw2 never had cl cod4 or 5 wouldnt of been hackd is well its just a matter of time till black opps get hacked

mate don't be haten on the CL it was the best pretty much 80% of all players hacked either prestige or CL so i can't see how people can cry about it

pretty much summed up right here. CLs are annoying i guess with all the hacks which ruin the game but mw2 wasnt good anyway so ya.
