The HoN lan is today and the discussion thread is up. The gamers are starting to arrive and the tension is building. Make sure you keep in the loop as the action goes down during the day. I will be updating this thread regularly today so make sure to keep in touch and come down if you want to chill out or have a game.

We would have won if every team didn't ban my pharoah. I'm just 2g on him man. Also, we didn't realise the prize pool was nearly 2k. Thought it was 500. Might have tried if we knew hey. GG though.

Total prize pool was worth $1400 at the end

I didn't know that 10% of $1400 was $190. AYN be laughin.

If you guys read the poster, it's $500 from S2, $50 per team, and internet cafe credit for the top 3 teams, hence a "total prize pool of $1400"

EDIT: GW to everyone that showed up and showed the strength of HoN in Brisbane, QLD. We got more players and teams than the GGF COD comp got the day before (which is their showcase comp). I also don't remmember being in any DotA comp with anything close to that many teams.

I will be taking feedback from this LAN to S2Games but this LAN would of run a lot smoother if teams listened to the organizers and just stuck with the 2 games at a time limit. But we were all very happy with how the LAN went after the early hiccups and you alls hould expect to see a write up in the comming days with some of the photos.
