As you may have read from these forums, there are a number of commands which remove various bushes and leaves from the game.

The commands in question are the following commands:
CODE:

seta r_treeScale "0"
seta wind_grass_gust_strength "0"
seta wind_grass_scale "0"
seta wind_grass_tension "0"
seta wind_local_frequency "0"
seta wind_leaf_scale "0"

The above commands take out the bushes in the mid-section of Hanoi, removes the bushes at Hanoi A bomb, removes various foliage on Jungle. Most trees no longer have leaves.

My main concern with these commands is that those bushes on Hanoi give the attacking team cover. Instead, it is possible to make shots previously not possible. Along with other trees like in Grid at the Defense side of top B, which no longer obstructs the view to A bomb.

Could teams post if they think these commands should be allowed or dissallowed? We would like to make a decision based on community feedback.

Not allowed. However much I hate campers in bushes, there are instances where it is necessary and is the only form of cover. Keep foilage.

tbh, I don't know why this is even up for discussion.

These commands should not be allowed.

allowed. it's all going to be removed by promod anyway.

complaining about hanoi makes no sense, we just came from CoD4 where the start of the round was dedicated to scopes trying to get an early pick. use a smoke, not that hard.

might make smokes actually useful now in this game instead of everyone trying to get a hit tag.

There will be an anti-cheat used to police such commands.
