As we all know there is not to many active players in either the 1v1 and 2v2 ladder. first i think all inactive teams need to be kicked once this is done there will be like 5 teams in each ladder we need to find a way to reach the gamers either around the world or just in AUS to tell them about this ladder, to my knowledge this is the only ladder that runs 24/7. (so we have the demand).

Also we need a COHO ladder. Yes i know we have been talking about it but nothing is happening. so lets get onto this and make the COH(O) community a little bigger on the competitive side of things

I think the coho ladder should have the following rules:

To keep the game balanced no purple or red army cards/heroes.
All command abilities are welcome.
And i think thats about all Any other ideas?

rule most likely be put in place so that the you cant use any heroes or army items that are above the lowest level player in the game e.g. if a level 40 played a level 20 you cant use any heroes or army items above level 20

those only other hard part is commander abilities as they cant be changed or restricted

will most likely remove the EF ladder in place for a 1v1 ladder for CoHO

I myself played company of heroes and got quite good at it and reached 5th or so spot back when it had 15-25 active teams. Although I just stopped playing because it got to a point as a player in the ladder for fun was no longer having it because of going up against people like OSOK bray and glimmer are just a few of the names I remember and getting slaughtered wasn't fun anymore.

One of the downfalls of company of heroes is the huge learning curve and you will find it hard to bring new players onboard. Sorry and good luck with this. If I no longer get owned I may reinstall COH and Cast + Play.

Great idea. I say we do the following:

-Kick all inactive players
- Advertise (somehow) to the vCoH community for new players.
- Set up a 1v1 and 2v2 CoHO ladder with only restrictions on red and purple cards, everything else is fair game.

Starcraft 2 is a much much easier game to play due to the amount of media and guides it has compared to COH also it is less dynamic in the fact that there are probably more units in COH and harder terrain to navigate also with the land being a big part of the game.

This would be a task and a half but i do know a lot of people who have the game but don't play on CG.

Maybe we create a 'season 1 ladder' for people who want to play but not with the veterans?

I don't know if u guys have heard but company of heroes is getting closed down on 31st of march. they are pulling the plug so all of our commanders are going to get wiped and there will be no coho forever till they release another game. Only found this out the this morning, go to the launcher for a look.

no point starting up a coho ladder if it is closing down soon.

Yeah the announcement just came through this morning, quite an interesting ending though

comapny of heroes2 i think is the next 1. heard somewhere it is based around modern combat but i can't be sure.

Keen for that, and instead run think about running different ladders/leagues for invite and amateur. Just don't make it pay to play.

yeah have a few ideas, most likely will be doing an all star league for vCoH now that CoHO is going to die

TBH i have no idea what vCoH is and the difference between it and CoHO ( im guessing offensive)

basically vCoH but with levels and perks. > more comand trees and command points. but you select them before the match and also heroic units. which have special abities over the standard unit. i.e. a sniper that can run while cloaked.
