Sucks to be anyone who legitimately thought 1943 was actually coming to PC.

Wasn't holding my breathe for 1943, just some recycled crap that would of gone nowhere.

It's also a shame to see that BF3 will be using the Frostbyte 2 engine... it's too sluggish...

all I want is BF2 with upgraded graphics/new maps + rego :[

Totally forgot about this game, oh well :S

BF2 Revival!!!!!!! seriously, they should release a patch to fix the rego on it, and the game would probably start booming again.. id pick it up in an instant.

I'd reserve judgment until you have seen/played it. It might be more amazing than any BF so far (though highly doubting it), although it's good to see them merging these efforts into those of BF3.

i think the sluggishness is just the way they made that particular game, in bc2 they wanted you to feel like a 300 pound cock, moh isnt sluggish, nor are the kills delayed by a second, if they wanted to they could make a game on frostbite that is faster than bf2. all depends how they want their game to feel.

Well I'm going to be Optimistic and I think they might actually make a worthy Battlefield game.
I do like the frostbite engine and it changes the dynamics of the game and its something that I would want to see in future games as technology goes forward into the future.

There ment to be using a better version of frostbite 2 anyway.

BC2 was a stepping stone and a learning curve/test with the newer frostbite engine and they believe they have unlocked the power of it since release.

Lets hope BF3 will blow us away.
