A few of you may remember the training map I created on L4D1.

I've ported it and upgraded it for L4D2. You can find it here:
www.l4dmaps.com/details.php?file=8709

Constructive criticism is welcome. If you want to complain or call it shit, make a better one and post it up.

I'm looking for any bugs that might be in it, or any improvements you guys might think of.

It's useful for praccing in any areas in L4D from hunter pouncing, witch crowning, tank etc.

There's no tutorial, you should be able to figure it out. Add meh on Steam if you want a walk through. Some of you will have already downloaded an earlier version and seen most of it any way, especially if you have the L4D1 one

You can run it localhost or on a server. Campaign and versus mode works fine. It was designed with multiple players in mind, so it's better suited for versus.

Installation:
Place in:
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead2\left4dead2\addons\
If you have an earlier version of this map, then delete it first, and move this new 1 into the addon directory. It may work if you double click the vpk file, but it has been known to do nothing when trying to install, or not update correctly.

Please post on the L4Dmods site for suggestions/bugs/rants so that all the comments are in one area. I'm not very active on here. There's also a writeup on the site for all the features.

Looking for anyone who's good at photoshop with an artistic eye and is familiar with vtfs (Valve's texture format) to make the map a little more pleasing to the eye.

Probably. Looks like it. Most likely. Almost.

just copy paste the file into C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead 2\left4dead2\addons there and then play it, you might have to go "map awesome_training" in console to play it but probs not

You should be able to select it from the addons list when you choose your map.

As to why it won't work when you double click it... not sure... it's possible there's something wrong with Steam, as I've seen that error around the Steam forums recently.

Just follow Halicarnassus' instructions for getting it to run. Otherwise let me know and I'll fix it!
