Hey guys, Im trying to fix a problem with my Homefront that after 15secs or so I lag out and everyone runs in 1 place, there is a post in the frontline forums http://forums.tripwireinteractive.com/showpost.php?p=516832&postcount=4 which is a fix, my computer has the telnet settings but I cant log in... telstra are being the usual clueless ****s that they are and offered no help when I rung them...

My problem is I cant login to the telnet address with the correct settings, even ringing my ISP they only gave me the password to the internet username (deastaway@bigpond.com) so Im completely stuck... Admin/admin does not work and I have no idea how to fix it or log into the telnet server through the cmd prompt. This ultimately means no homefront as they will not patch it as only a small amount of people experience this problem, if anyone could help that would be amazing..

Hey man, are you sure that the telnet service is enabled in control panel? I know you said you have the settings, but make sure the service is enabled.

Go to control panel, and then programs and features. On the left hand side click "turn windows features on or off", and make sure telnet client is ticked.

The just go start > run > cmd. Type in "telnet modem IP" without the quote marks and follow the steps on the Tripwire site

EDIT: Also, what model Modem is it? Is it a modem by itself, or a modem/router? Have you tried googling "Default *** Modem username and password?"

Yeah Im sure, I tried that command but got a message saying 'Could not open connection to the host, or port IP' Its okay, I found another fix and im pretty certain that worked, thanks
