According to Steam stats and a little bit of research from Ausgamers, that is.
Using graphed data from several months of steam activity, we analyse the downward trend of PC gamers playing Call of Duty: Black Ops versus the relevtive stability of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
Only problem I've got with Ausgamers is they clearly missed the point: it's not Infinity Ward's map making skills that tipped the equation, but the bleeding bloody obvious that everyone on CG could have told them months before release:
TREYARCH ARE SHITTY CODERS.
If people's PCs were capable of running the damn game on launch without requiring a monster overclock or a huge upgrade, and the damn thing didn't continuously asphyxiate users of dual core systems until about thirteen patches down the road, more people would be playing Black Ops.
Shitty coding turns people off your game. Pure and simple.
