Ok, as much as I hate to say it a lot of you can't set out a simple request thread so I've decided to make some sort of guidelines.

Titles: - fairly simple example, also when making a request thread make sure you use the request subsection.
NOT PAYING: Team Chocolate LF GFX
PAYING: Team Chocolate LF GFX $$

Requesting:
A lot of "anything that looks cool" or "try anything, not sure what we want" has been seen lately - this IS NOT how it should be written up - A designer won't bother even bother opening up Photoshop if all you've written up asking for something that looks cool because in all honesty we all have different ideas on what's cool and what isn't.

What we do look for is:
- Team name / Name
- Preferred colours
- Ideal logos in which you like or a theme or maybe 1-2 sentences about the design your picturing. Even doing a rough sketch and scanning it onto your computer and posting it in the thread can give us an idea as to what you want.
- What your actually looking for like Sigs, Logo, Banner, Wallpaper etc etc

Now that the guidelines are here it should be fairly easy to get the layout correct - It will help you and your team get what your looking for faster and you'll get respect from designers. If you'd like to add anything on, post it below.

Very Helpful, Worthy of a sticky for sure, Get sick of people requesting and not knowing what they want, Doesn't help us in the least.

There are still people not reading this, threads will start getting locked if people don't post proper details of what they want, not just "someone make me a sig and make it look good" or asking people to PM them for the details.

It takes barely 3 minutes to do a decent post containing the info above.

Yes because most people think that as designers we are also mind readers and can pull something perfect off for them first time. I dont even bother looking at threads like that and just press back straight away..

Got to love the ones that say -
MAKE me a free logo/sig. (What are you the king or some shit?)

Another tip: It actually helps if you post what you want, with details, instead of asking the designers to message you - because honestly that's just annoying, especially if your not paying.
