I guarantee you any tank that you think "BS Long armed" you has at least 67ms lerp or higher. Default lerp is 100ms which everyone should already be used to playing against in pubs etc, all the configs do is limit lerp from going above default. Nothing tank cvar related is changed and being able to hit people I assume mostly comes down to people having learned how to juke and dodge tanks better.

For instance people say I have long tank arms in L4D1, and I've found the barf range on my boomers too to be pretty insane (gonna be a contender in the Boom'o'lympics). I've never been good at punting though, idk if i'm just shit but every so often I've had some crazy punts that don't make sense at all and punts that should have connected but don't.
It's not all down to your interp though, I remember liquid or someone saying its not that important, and it really isnt, but every pc is marginally different.

He also said if you hold left click your arms get longer so take what he says with a grain of salt (guy, <3 u likwad)

interp is over-rated when it comes to tank arms. Ping affects your arms more than your interp.
