The following are the Criterion by which all Boomers are to be graded in the BoomOlympics. The Following Describes a perfect 10 Score.

  1. Originality

    • The Boomer chose an atypical spawning location that showed initiative, innovation and thought.
    • The Boomer vomit was initiated with individual style and flare; choosing to vomit from an unknown location.

  2. Effectiveness

    • The Vomit landed on all survivors, or at least those which it needed to to be most effective (vomiting on 3 downed survivors is not effective)
    • The Boomer allowed the remaining infected to have a successful attack (result of the attack should not come into consideration) OR was a successful timed boomer (full cycle/Incoming tank)

  3. Distance

    • While an ineffective boomer will be marked harshly for this, a successful boom after running a great difference will be graded well.

  4. Humour and style

    • Making judges laugh will also be awarded, with added point for originality of humour.
    • Rocket booms, walking booms, Crouching booms are also pros if successful.

Good Luck to All.

Dougking clearly just can't understand the level of nuance involved in the art of booming. I hope to see some stylish and creative booms in the future and lots of 10s.

As a self-professed bulimic and author of 'The Art of the Boom' I find it very exciting that a well-defined booming criterion has been established. Best of luck to the competitors and I would like to take this opportunity to nominate myself for boomer judging. Ty.
