New LAN cafe "Vault 17" is located on Scarborough st Southport QLD (Gold Coast) is having its 1st DotA competition on Sunday 9th August starting at 11:00am

Mode: -CD/-CM

Entry fee of $50 per team, teams consisting of 5 players..
The competition will be double elimination with every team entitled to 1 loss.
Prize money will be $1000 ideally but subject to change due to amount of entered teams on the day.

Will be interesting to see how many teams from QLD are drawn to this LAN event. I really like the prize money if you get enough teams . Good luck with your search.

Will the LAN be putting starting prize money? Or it all derives on how many teams are attending?

Also, what would be the rule set?

prize money based on attendance however the lan cafe should also be putting up some money towards it from the last meeting with the owner. theres quite a few local teams that arent very good but should put the numbers up

the minimum prize money will be $400 put up by the cafe itself, rest of prize money pool will come from entry fee's!! GET ON DOWN TO WIN SOME CASH
