I know that there isnt that many players playing in SOF2 anymore but the game has picked up abit might I say with more active players. Just an idea so far.

This gaming league will be run using the OSP 1.1 Mod. Enabling fair gameplay to all players using 125FPS.

. The following States will be competiting in the league:
Victoria
New South Wales (+ACT)
Queensland + Northan Territory
New Zealand + Western Australia
South Australia + Tasmania

How will the league be run?
Each team will play each other twice on a Sunday night at 8:00PM. This is to enable the league to con inside with the currently running 5v5 INF ladder. Since every team will play each other twice (1 Home and 1 Away) the home team gets to choose which map. The selected map must be submitted by Friday night at 8:00PM ladder time to the admins of the competition. The Home team also starts on RED team.

What format and game type are we playing?
For the S.O.O (state of Origin). I plan to use a 7v7 format using the CTF format. All points count. The time limit will be 25 minutes for each half and two shall be played out, with a 5 minute half-time break.

How do I get selected to play for my state?
You will apply to your states team on the league which will be accepted and the admins will select a state captain (best captain of a team for the state in our eyes). H1e will each week choose a 7 man starting team and then 2 subs and 2 emergencies players

Just a ruff layout so far guys. If there is enough interest It shall continue on. The start date will be after the barn comp which will start on 31/07/09 and finish on 1/08/09.

i think this comp will bring back more players tbh as some wont come back because their team is retired, this way they can war without worrying about joining a nub clan like trep

since there are quite a few ppl now who have gotten over night talent ( not calling hax here), they will be chosen over the ppl who have been around for a hell of a lot longer.

In a way yes, It all depends on your availability which state and who your captain is.

Thats why its not going to be the only ladder/league running for SOF2 so you can play for Trep during the normal season while an elite few get to play for their state on Sunday. Just like in RL S.O.O the players that dont get chosen dont really wine as such.

Everyone who plays for a state should get a game and it should be rotated around so everyone get a fair go.

I know im shit, but would still love to participate in this SOO and if only the leet get to play every sunday then thats not fair. its just like the 125/333 just because you can get 333 and you are thinking of putting the server to max 125 its not fair to those that can achieve the 333 to have to play at a lower setting
