I had the chance to review the Zowie Celeritas which has been posted up on AUSPCmarket located here - http://www.auspcmarket.com.au/content/review_celeritas

I hadn't actually heard too much about Zowie products until relatively recently and I'm pretty impressed with it so I thought I would share.

Feel free to provide any feedback.

Cheers

Excellent review mate, thanks for posting. Probably one of the best on the internet for the Celeritas.

Bit iffy about the nylon key caps of the Celeritas which would warrant forking out a little more for a Filco, Das or Deck in my opinion.

All keyboards should come with plastic covers, the best invention ever. Glad that Zowie have made the right choice on this.

RTR is absurd, it's a big joke I mean come on.

I haven't used a keyboard with MX blue switches so unfortunately I can't compare, but if I do get a hold of one I'll do a comparison

Browns are 5g lighter than blues, they're tactile (like the blues) which is a little bump halfway down that tells you the key has been actuated so you can let it go instead of bottoming out the key which would make it noisier, waste energy and increase fatigue.

Browns are middle between gaming + typing.

So when compared to the blues it's not as good for typing but it's a HELL of a lot better than red/black linear switches, rubber domes and scissor switch pieces of shit... when typing.

Still happy with my BlackWidow. It lasted a whole month and is currently being replaced. Good old razer build quality.
Are there any MX Brown's on backlit keyboards? Cause that'd be a definite buy down the track

Deck sell illuminated keyboards with MX clears, 5g heavier than blues, more tactile than browns.

They're the brightest keyboards available, an LED per each key

FYI: on the Deck site linear = MX black and tactile = MX clear.

I just got my Zowie in, I'll be giving it a test run in Brink tomorrow.

The only thing that I don't like is the red leds, so I'm going to change them to blue.

Just received a package with a Majestouch 2 Tenkeyless (cherry brown) and a Majestouch 2 (cherry black) so I'll post here once I've had the chance to use them and the review is up.

I'm pretty disappointed that Zowie are skimping on the spacebar key switch, leaving it brown even though it should be light grey.
