Not really much info to add that hasn't already been mentioned.
Played it a bit last night, basically the maps are really decent. Very streamline and crap free, they actually remind me of CoD1 maps a bit.
The Map size is pretty small for the most part, but they have made good use of the size if that make sense. Will be suitable for 5v5 competitive play I'd say. Pub servers can likley get away with 8v8 max.
Rego is good, and the guns are decent, but may need tweaking (the mp40/43 seem a tad bit op, reload is a bit too fast compared to the kar98k. Kar is still decent though hard to tell how much tweaking may/or may not be required.
Grenades as would be expected are only good for dynamic use (i.e no lame line up with X cloud and Y brick static nades, not gonna be much use games too fast) Panzer is good not too op but will be good enough to use for picks.
All three classes start without their veil power so haven't tested them yet. They only cost like $500 but and I had made like $389 in one round 1v1ing neg.
Engine is more or less identical to quake wars (not a bad thing) minus all the vehicles and rubbish from that game. Sprint is quick and can strafe sprint which is nice (don't go as fast as you do running forwards though)
Objectives are basic but for each objective there's often say 2-3 options of how to do it. For example, on Facility, you have to blow down a door to get inside, but from best I could tell, there's like 2-3 different doors you can choose. This should help stop any stalemating occurring on initial stages.
Character models are easy to see, they do come with a red health bar over the top of them though which will probably need to be gotten rid of. (might be a server side option anyways)
Only other gripes are the limbo menu isn't the most streamlined of things and I thought the hud for your health/veil bars was a bit crappy, would like a numerical representation over the top of the bar if possible me thinks.
Pretty good so far, impressed they had the balls to make such a streamlined comp friendly game.
