Just a question to see if there is any interest in a small competition something like a 3v3 teams or maybe like a weekly random team game (i.e 20 people on in one night 10v10).

Let me know via this thread of ideas, barn comps ect. all ideas welcome and express your interest into it I am willing to help contribute to it and will give all the spare time I can too since ive been flat out working GRRR.

Hi Mitchell, just download SoF 2 through a torrent client (seeing as you have misplaced your disc and originally purchased the program). The torrent file is located on 'The Pirate Bay'. Ask myself or Rick for a key.
Regarding SoF 2 on Windows 7, I haven't had a problem getting it running, I didn't have to 'run as administrator' or in 'compatability mode'.

Or if you cant find the game online

I can upload the game to a server for anyone to download

I have a rapidshare, fileserve, filesonic host at my discretion to upload the game. the game is about 900 ish MB from memory and CD keys I have many.

Small comp sounds good asterix has setup a automated comp setup which makes setting up comps very easy to use.

If we can get one running im sure I can get more people to play.
I already have a barn server up and that can be used as a comp server with a simple change of server.cfg

What gametype have you guys have in mind and maps?
List them so that I can get cracking

Sounds great lads. Surely we could get 20-30 people playing. I reckon it would be good to get either a state of origin thing going, or something like having 5-6 captains and then a player pool, which the captains pick players from. Then at least the teams would be mixed up instead of having the same teams all over again and having the same teams dominating (cough trep cough). Also gives a chance for us noobs to be in a good team with some decent players. Then have 6 or so players per team and make it a 4v4 dem/inf/ctf comp. With that amount of members it shouldnt be difficult for teams to field 4 players every week. Just my 2 cents worth, I'd also be happy to help out/donate if needed.

install it brah, heaps of us still play. The more the better as they say. (lol better), anyways i like the idea of getting into war server, getting 2 captains, everyone specs and the captains pick player by player. Like good ol primary school days for hide n seek.
And to decide captains, its a race in indiana jones map, last 2 are captains. (this is optional, church will agree its the best option though)
