Now this is a crap thread and the reason for that is I hate doing things like this.

The MW2 forums as of late have been disgusting. You need only look down the first page of the Discussion area to see this is the case.

Now there are many reasons for this and I'm not going to delve into them too much but I do think the game brings it upon itself alot of the time. Younger generations who are not savy with forums and follow the 'cool kids' behaviour. People playing the game for laugh and then bringing that same mentality onto the forums. And then there's just the ones who just haven't got a clue.

So from now on we are going to be monitoring the forums very very closely. Plainly put, there will be no 2nd chances from now, and until these forums are treated like the other ones. If they don't improve we will just remove them, simple as that. Month long bans will be handed out on THE FIRST offence.

So this means:
- No abusing players
- No talk of hackers
- No threads that have nothing to do with MW2
- No baiting other players to retaliate
- No pig headed arrogant threads that YOU KNOW will create issues.

If you have an issue with a suspect player, player in general, the MW2 staff or anything else for that matter. Then create a support ticket, that's why the function is there. That way it is out of the public eye and the admin team will definitely receive/see that issue.

Sounds like boring forums? Well guess what. You are coming to the wrong section if you want more from them. They are MODERN WARFARE 2. That's why Aster/Snap/Tal go to the trouble of creating other sections on the website for laughs etc. Go to the much older section of COD and have a look at their threads. You will find 99% of them are game related. Which I will admit is how most of MW2 ones start out. It's how they end that's the difference. They don't start another pointless topic which then creates an argument. Post count really means nothing. People seem to think they hold more respect within this community if they have lots of post. You want E-cred? Win a CGi comp. You want to look stupid and get no E-cred? Then post whore and watch the reputable people in the AUS community think you are an idiot.

So that's my rant. As I said, I hate doing these. The game is full of major flaws as it is. How there is still activity for it I shall never know. Don't turn the forums into a schomozzle like the game is.
