Bilbin, it depends what resolution OP wants to run it at as well.

Less than $100 for $4870. Your computer should handle it OK, not sure about your power supply though :| I think it's about 550W safe, 450W minimum (rails rails, yes yes, whatever)
Well I'm guessing he might want to run it at 1920x1080 max, which would hold it in-game I would presume, from personal experience on a 1680x1050 I ran CoD4 on 125 FPS (with a decent config of course) with those parts I posted before.

I'm not saying they're great Ven0m`, you could get better second hand parts that thrash them but it seems you're not that trustworthy due to having some bad experiences. Maybe wait til you get another $50 - $100 more so you can use that CPU to it's potential.

Stable 125 FPS, maybe even 250 FPS with spikes in smoke, not sure as I never played on horrible graphics. My MX400 with Pent IV @ 3.0GHz ran CoD4, it was playable around 30 - 45 FPS in PAM4.
You'd need a config if you don't already have one, on promod that is.

If you got a secondhand 4870 you could hold 250 FPS with no drops in smoke, it's the best decision but if you don't want to do it then the only option would be to get a lower tier card.
