Well well well, what can I say. I was shyting myself coming into this match and shyting myself coming out of it. First round of CGI and coming up against a very experienced team with some of the games' most well known players; we knew we had to push hard to get as many rounds as we could to stand out in this league. To be honest, we weren't really confident coming into it as JayD had rang me about 10 minutes before the match saying he can't play because of his internet screwing up again. So we had to get no other than Legit "the man" to sub in for him, which messed around with all our defending straights. And what can I say; HE WAS A BEAST! . Apart from him team killing Fully Sick with a randy grenade, nearly killing me when I came up behind him, and killing himself with a grenade (LOL); he did everything we needed him to do and more. After the end of the first half being 6 a piece, we were extremely confident going into defence, as it is easier to hold. But we weren't going to let our game down; we wanted to win it, and win it convincingly. In the pre-game lobby, JayD's internet started working again and he subbed in for Legit, only to be disconnected midway through the first round of defence. Although we were a man down, everyone held their own (except Parra ) and we won that round. After that round, we were brought back to pregame lobby looking for Legit, only to find that he wasn't online! :o. I was panicking like crazy; we were 7-6 up and it was looking like we were gonna have to be playing 4v5 the rest of the map. Fortunately Legit came back online and the rest of the rounds were played. Excellent defence by Excel and unlucky Fray. Sorry that you didn't agree on the 10pm match time but some of our players have work till 8 and 9pm and we thought that you would be alright with the Sunday times we offered you. And also, sorry Saint if you need a new controller and headset; but I'm not buying you any .
