Okay so this is what i have so far.

CPU - Intel 1366pin Core i7-950 $285
GPU - NVIDIA 1536M GTX580 Asus $539
MOBO - Intel Socket 1366pin ddr3 Asus Sabertooth $215
RAM - 6G Kit 16000 KingstonT1 $139
HDD - Seagate SATA3 1T $58
PSU - Silverstone Strider Plus 850W $169

Suggestions? Most likely will not be Over Clocking. Worth extra money for SSD? Price cap is around $1500 - $1700 for the box. Also could anybody suggest a good case and monitor?

Cheers.

Get a i5 2500 if you wont be overclocking, depending on your resolution get a gtx 560 or 6950....or 570 or 6950 if you want to spend a bit extra... still saving money and good performance compared to gtx 580. Get an SSD for boot drive definitely worth the money. I'll let someone else recommend the mobo and the rest.

That should be good.

Get some good headphones too. Assuming you already have kb/mouse/pad.
