might just ambush your mouse thread a bit, might benefit to you as well. save me making another thread on the same issue.

I'm also a long time user of the g9 and its great, but im just looking for a switch and to try something new. and not a big fan of drivers. Done a little bit of research on each of these mice, all seems to get good reviews besides known problems of a few. Unsure of some as haven't really looked at mice in a while due to never needing to upgrade.

Have been looking around and found a couple options that caught my eye, and open to suggestions. Have a look at some of these mice, ill probs go for one of these options below.

lantern gave me a bit of information on the steelseries mice.

pros - design, lcd screen, plug and play
cons - acceleration, expensive for what it is

STEELSERIES KINZU - http://steelseries.com/products/mice/steelseries-kinzu-optical
pros - lightweight, similar shape/size to xai
cons - acceleration, no side buttons, size may be an issue, skates

everyone raves about this mouse, but i have felt it probs would take some getting used to for me. only thing i really dislike is the driver.

purchesd a RAT 7, only mouse that looks to take my size hand with the extra pinkie grips etc,
