hey dude, i reinstalled it a few months ago.. got all my files from here:

www.ausgamers.com/files/search.php?start=50&search=americas+army

still does take awhile but you can get all the patches etc

from memory you just install 2.8.3 and then do all the patches from there and 2.8.5 you copy+paste the files
