MOBO: Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD3PB3 P67 DDR3 Intel 1155pin (Gigabyte) $ 179
RAM: 8GB Kit 1333 G.Skill Sniper $89
KEYBOARD: Thermaltake TteSports Challenger Pro $79
MONITOR: ASUS 20" VE208T LED $132
MOUSE: Thermaltake TteSports 4000dpi $43

Maybe consider gettin a SSD for some quicker boot times or launching games fast, whatever you'd prefer. The main specs look like they should be fine. The mouse and keyboard is pretty personal preference, there are probably better options but like I said, preference.

MOBO: get an asus board, p8p67 pro or similar
RAM: 8GB Kit of corsair, the low end gskill is junk
KEYBOARD: Thermaltake TteSports Challenger Pro $79
MONITOR: you should be able to find a 23-24" for about $200
MOUSE: Thermaltake TteSports 4000dpi $43
HDD: get a samsung or hitachi, the WD's have a higher failure rate
DISK DRIVE: Samsung SATA 22x $29
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit OEM $96

as for an ssd, only if you can afford it, if this $1350 or so is stretching your budget then dont bother, just partition.

G.Skill sniper isn't low end, the 1333 kits have been overclocking very well.

As for keyboard and mouse, don't get those Tt things.

Get a Razer DeathAdder for your mouse and either a Microsoft Sidewinder X4 or a Steelseries 6Gv2 / 7G for your keyboard.

If any troubles, let me know.

Filco's are probably a bit out of his price range considering it's a keyboard ;D

I said the x4 coz it's basically just as good as any 'gaming keyboard' but it's a lot cheaper. The Steelseries ones are good value mechanical ones. I shall have to look into the Celeritas, haven't heard much about it :O
