Is there mush difference between HDMI and DVI cables?

Hey Guys,

Just wondering if i should get a HDMI cable for my computer i am using a DVI cable at the moment is there much difference?

Only difference is that HDMI carries over audio as well, picture quality is the same for both.

If you're a console player you may be lead to believe that HDMI is some magical-graphics-enhancing cable. HDMI can be used for audio and video at the same time, that's it's only advantage. Pretty sure HDMI can't support higher than 1920x1200 resolution aswell.

it also will NOT carry audio from ur pc unless you set it up properly to do so
