I'm looking into building an AMD system, I'll be mainly be playing games, all the general stuff.

Anyway, I'm interested in getting a 6-core cpu, would this be worth while? Are modern games optimized for six cores? Which is better for gaming - Quad Core or 6 Core?

Sweet, yeah - cause x6 core seemed too good to be true. I would have thought it wasn't optimized or may bottle neck something.

If i were to get a sandy bridge, would it be worth while to get a 2500 rather than a 2400? If tis worth the $20 then sure, ill take it.
