Hey guys, I'm thinking of building a new computer.

Budget is $4600. This is my current build but not sure whether to wait for kepler to come out later this year. Also contemplating to get ati cards but i heard they have driver issues.

temporary

current pc is pretty shit. ati 4850 is pretty much dead but this is the pccg price. I can get it like 200-300 cheaper from another place. yea... trisli was an accident lol. didnt realise, i dnt want tri sli tbh. anyways my build is the above except without tri sli.

Something like this
would just get ur budget, similar to my future build but not quite as much ($4000)

990x
Asus Ramapge 3 formula
Silverstone TJ07 Black
Corsair CMT6GX3M3A2000C8 6GB (3x2GB) Dominator GT
x3 ASUS GeForce GTX 580 DirectCU II
Silverstone Strider 1200W Gold ST1200G
Corsair Force Series 3 120GB SSD
Samsung SpinPoint F3 1TB HD103SJ
Antec KUHLER H2O 920 CPU Cooler
Samsung SH-222AB SATA DVDRW Drive
Corsair Force Series 60GB SSD

TOTAL $4603 im sure karma will disagree but i thinks it pretty good but i think ur pocket is too deep or ur silly

Spending so much on the latest and greatest PC, which in 6-12 months down the track, won't be the latest and greatest, just doesn't make sense to me.

You could easily spend half your budget and still build a very decent system.

@ Op You are an idiot for spending that much if you just want to game.
Your 16. Buy a good 2k computer and save for a car.
