I think it's about time we all say goodbye to our favourite game.

Unless there's another tournament on the horizon with more active teams, I'm pretty sure this is the end. Lets hope the upcoming L4D2 DLC will revive the game.

DLC is just L4D1 maps, nothing else.

l4d1 isnt dead its just there arent any actual teams playing together more 1 man army players which i believe with a bit of motivation will join up together

There are less than 30 "active" comp players combined for 1/2 in aus/nz - maybe even less than 20.

People don't scrim anymore and new teams get dom'd by older teams and lose interest because the older teams are elitest ****s (see: Xandrix) - Its a casual league would hardly call it competitive

The teams that have 7-8 players are generally all friends who don't want to play with "bads".

Not attacking you personally - but just saying l4d/2 is completely dead (in competitive terms) in Aus in general
