SP and MP made by to different companies.
cant compare how two different companies make games.

yeah this I understand, but explain something to me I STILL dont understand..

Even though its composed by 2 different companies, isnt the MP just a modded version of the SP?

judging from rtcw they made the MP from the ground up alongside the guys that were doing the SP, so its not exactly modded over but similar aspects.

the beta we have played, will be the release version of the MP... the game is already boxed and shipped according to some dude and a few shops, and a mate of mine that works at jbhi fi said they already have the game in stock just cant put it on shelfs untill the official date.

The beta won't be the release version. They have left out things like remote console (rcon).

If you try and do a /rcon into the console, it says "Rcon is not available" or something similar to that. This means they have purposely left if out of the beta, otherwise it would be an "unknown command".

Also, various other things such as xbox buttons actually appearing in-game.

Plus, they made an official announcement that it will not be the same as release.

I don't know how much it will have changed, but it will definitely not be exactly the same.

i was talking about actuall gameplay.

they would have added extra commands.
rcon may still be left out, due to theres a mini remote console via the options when ingame.

i doubt the xbox configs and xbox buttons will be removed as the xbox controller is compatible with the game on PC.

also have you tried

net_serverRemoteConsolePassword
net_serverRemoteConsole

and the volume command you was asking about in another thread is;

s_volume_dB
but the values are based on dessables or how ever its spelt. ranges from -20 to 0
