"The overall, generally accepted 'best gaming mouse' is the Razer Deathadder; it's around $50 and has no major issues unlike most other gaming mice, like the Logitech G9x or other Razer mice such as the Imperator. My number one recommendation would be a Razer Deathadder, but if for whatever reason you want something else, you could look into getting a SteelSeries Xai or a Logitech MX518 (actually, wait for the new version of it to come out - the Logitech G400).
