Hey guys, finally building my new pc at the end of the month, got everything else lined up, need some recommendations for a Socket 1155 cpu cooler. Going to overclock the pants of an i5 2500k so I'm looking for a good performer, but I don't want a heatsink that takes up a quarter of my mobo's surface area.

I'm running a Corsair Graphite 600T case with the side window, so I want something relatively stylish too.

Recommendations?

It's kinda hard to find a low profile cooler if you want good performance.....
But anyway, cheap, good, and I don't mind the size, any decent case fits it -

Ah nice, looked up some reviews, a good performer. I am running a side window though so I don't want something quite so... plain..

It's one of the best bang for buck air coolers, but if you can stretch to $108 go with the Noctua NH-D14. I think you'd find that majority of coolers aren't going to be aesthetically pleasant, but it's the performance that counts.

Get a H60 if you want small, decent performance.

well said, pricepoint isnt an issue really, but im not looking at going a radiator/liquid cooling setup.

Well if money isn't an issue, the Noctua NH-D14 is probably your best choice for air cooling.
