As the title suggests this month along with the new one day comps we are still running weekly FFA tournaments with hardware prizes for Call of Duty 4 This month we will have 3 rounds over the next 3 weekends where the top competitor from each week will win one of MSI's 560GTX-Ti HAWK graphics cards. In future months the games will change so if your keen for COD4 and have the game now is the time to get in and register yourself for this months competitions!

What do you need to do?

Simply go to the MSI Sunday Mayhem league page and click the big green create a team button. Your team name must identically match your in game name for COD4. Players joining the server with a name that does not match the name registered on this page will be kicked from the server.

Where do you need to be?

On Sunday at 3:30pm the weekly signup thread will open and the first 18 people to post a link to their MSI Sunday Mayhem team profile will be selected to compete in the games which begin at 4:00 pm. Dont worry if your name isnt called there is always the next round of games! If your actively playing, simply pause the broadcast while you play your game then unpause once its completed to catch up with all the latest news and need to know information!

How are the games run?

When we have 18players confirmed as registered we will announce the 18 players selected to compete in this thread, those players must be online and ready to play. On each Sunday there will be one group of 18 players with a 20 minute time limit FFA match on a COD4 map of our choice. At the end of each game, the top scoring player will win one of MSI's 560GTX-Ti HAWK graphics cards!


Here is a timetable:
(This is just a general guideline - the FFA will start during the ODC lunch break each week)

10-7-2011 - Week 1
3:30pm - Signup thread opens - first 18 to post their team profile links are chosen
4:00pm - 18 players announced and game starts
4:30 PM - Winner announcement

17-7-2011 - Week 2
3:30pm - Signup thread opens - first 18 to post their team profile links are chosen
4:00pm - 18 players announced and game starts
4:30 PM - Winner announcement

24-7-2011 - Week 3
3:30pm - Signup thread opens - first 18 to post their team profile links are chosen
4:00pm - 18 players announced and game starts
4:30 PM - Winner announcement

Great! I'm not sure why there aren't any comments on this thread, but when will the rules be up?

id imagine that it would be standard CG rules, hell keen as a bean

Also, I made a team for the comp, but it says I'm not ranked? Do you know why and if so, how I can get ranked?

So ive got a team, but it isnt on that page, that all good or?

I'm guessing that's meant to be 1pm and 1:30pm?

Hi guys, apologies for the timing issues, we had some changes in the ODC that affect the FFA.

For all you who dont know, its cod4 in FFA deathmatch mode, when all 18 are in the server we restart the map and the player with the top score after 30 minutes is declared the winner. Not alot of work to do to win a sweet video card.

Now the times have changed, the FFA comp runs during the break for the ODC.

Please sign up for the league again guys i cleared the teams from the old comp, just remember if you have competed before you just have to click join the league not create a team (it wont show anyway)

Yes! Thank you! All competition admins should be like you, good job, I can tell this is actually going to be a good competition now

I have another question, lol (I seem to have many of these cause I'm newbie xD), when you sign your team up (yourself), it comes up with Tag in the general details, what does this mean exactly? Do I have to have a tag? If I don't have one, does it mean I can't enter the competition? If it just says 'A' does that mean I have to have it in front of my name when/if I join the competition server?

And once again, when it says "the first 18 people to post a link to their MSI Sunday Mayhem team profile will be selected to compete in the games which begin at 4:00 pm.", does this mean that there will be a thread made specifically for this?
