finally a game worth buying.

Could potentially kill the competitive scene though. It may be a lot more attractive and in terms of gameplay, better. But dota is free and easy to download, and most people already own/have the game.

I'll be buying it on release personally, but whether the "pro's" do or not, depends on how much better the developers can make the game good enough

well the game is aimed at stealing dota players....

id rather play hon than dota, and there is so much more than can do with the hon engine compared to the wc3 engine.

My first stab will be download? Game shouldnt be that big my stab would be 600MB? But im not sure havent read into it as of yet.

bought it, it tags your beta account as being upgraded essentially. I assume if you don't already have a beta account it gives you one on purchase. On release I imagine they'll email a download link or the beta will be upgraded to the full version and unless you have a "full" account you cant login.

I find it funny that the only game that hasn't been a complete disappointment is a blatant remake of another game.

Perhaps this needs to be done more often?

I dont think its that luno, i think its the fact that S2 have a independant game company. They have to make something amazing for it to even go half decent, not to mention they are using their own propriety engine. Who else knows how to develop best on that engine than the developers themselves.
