Hi guys, last night I installed Wolf:ET, along with ET Pro, from this thread http://www.cybergamer.com.au/forums/thread/37387/Wolf:-ET-Getting-Started/

I went to join one of the GA ETPro servers and it said, "Couldn't read official .pak file, verify your installation."

I reinstalled everything and tried again. No success. I then went and checked the server info, of the GA server...People I know join with 2.60b, but it says the server version is 1.0...

Any ideas on how to fix?

Did you install manually or with the ultimate installer?

If manually, did you install the 2.60 patch before 2.60b?

Server versions are different to the client versions (e.g. server could be using linux or windowsx or ettv binaries which uses different version numbering again).

You have to install the 2.60 patch before applying 2.60b, not doing so will leave you without the official pk3 files that were included in 2.60.

but yeah if issues persist, uninstall and re-install using the ultimate installer.
