So, my CoD4 was working someother day and now it's not.

Key in use regardless which key I use.
I have my own key and have 2 other keys from mates who used to play, none of them work, same error: Key code in use. Please try again later.

Done the usual:
Power off router, wait 5 mins, power it back on.
Change CD keys (These are all valid).
Restarted PC.

I do not use Steam. Regular CoD4 install, all patched etc.

Halp?

I bought the game. Gametraders/EB/JBhifi or some retail store of the sort, forgot.
And their copies were purchased too.

But updated post, I can connect to one server but not the rest of the promod ones..

Mmk can rule out the CD key being sold to multiple people from an online store.

I think showie had a similar problem - his DNS or something wouldn't flush itself when something changed (eg he stopped playing cod) - it led to him either only playing on Stipe servers, or ringing his ISP every time he wanted to play cod. It may not be that, but it sounds similar.

Would opening CMD prompt

ipconfig flushdns

fix it?

End the punkbuster processes ( PnkBstrA.exe and PnkBstrB.exe ) and try again?

Still nothing. Theoretically won't work anyway, you can join non PB servers and still need authentication of CD key.

Seems I can't join non-Promod servers either.

Bump. This shit is still ******* happening. No way are all my CD keys in use, if my folder of keys got hacked I wouldn't be playing CoH or HoN cause my acc dets are there too.
Zzz. Can't find a solution and reporting it to activision or w/e is gonna be pointless, dumb ****s there are useless.

The reason you can join the 'IGnet server' is because that's a cracked server, you can use a keygen key and play that server lol.

in my opinion aswell;
open cmd and do a

ipconfig flushdns

see if that fixes anything, have you tried changing your ip? although i doubt that would fix it.
