I've been having problems with bc2 lately. My specs are i7 960 @ 3.5 with noctura ud12 - GTX 570 twin frozr OC - 6Gig gskill 1600mhz - evga sli 3 mobo. HAF932 case. Plenty of cooling, and the cpu hovers around 50-55 under load.

What happens, Freezes, black screen, in some cases i have to fully restart. sometimes crashes to desktop with sound in the background.

Offering $100 via DD if anyone can help me. Thanks G-Town.

Could be a driver issue, update/reinstall drivers for your gpu. If you have recently updated them, roll back to an earlier version.

Changed any hardware etc recently?

Had a similar problem, after trying everything under the sun to fix it, turns out some Realtek onboard sound drivers **** with BC2. Bought a cheap soundcard and disabled onboard in the BIOS and it hasn't happened since.

Could be the same problem

Graphics card drivers
onboard sound and lan drivers
what else is running
windowed or fullscreen

275.33 drivers installed, BUT lately display driver has been crashing so i rolled back- no good.

I'd follow up on JezR's advice, a clan mate had a similar issue with his sound card and BC2.

Disable it in BIOS and see how you go? Just wont have any sound but will rule it in or out

Realtek drivers...drop the sample rate to 24 bit 44khz in your playback properties.. 48khz causes problems with some Realtek hardware..


but i still think onboard sound is crap..even though its come a long way..

this is fairly decent card but you can get cheaper x-fi's ->

although im sure other people have differing opinions about how good/bad creative are...they just work..less hassle than most.

USB headsets are about as much trouble as onboard..

imo dont buy sh1t games such as bc2 such a scrub game full of speds who camp and play like fktards.hence why this game died on the cg ladder.. scrub game is scrub so /delete game and ur problem is fixed
