Three ways to patch to 1.24b
Solution 1- Noob friendly, but waste of bandwidth
Download the 1.24b Universal Patch (~approx. 50mb+)

Solution 2 - Alternative Double Patch Solution (saves bandwidth, use this if you are capped)
Approx downloads: 2mbs.
Step 1: Download the 1.23 -> 1.24 patch @ AusGamers Files
(alternative mirror @ Games On Net File Library)
Step 2 - Patch it.
Step 3: Download the 1.24 -> 1.24b patch @ Blizzard (or try my mirror @ FileFront)
Step 4 - Patch it.
Solution 3 - Update via Battle.Net (if you have a legitimate version of Warcraft)
Step 1 - Access any of the official realms (US West for example)
Step 2 - Battle.Net will automatically download to the newst patch for you (1.24b at time of writing).

The Warcraft III patch v1.24b has been released with several game fixes, updates and new maps.

PC WORLD EDITOR CHANGES
- Increased max map file size from 4 MB to 8 MB.
- Added the ability to store hashtable handles in a hashtable.
- Added GetSpellTargetX and GetSpellTargetY natives.
- Added a new base handle type "Agent" of which many types now extend from.
- Added a SaveAgentHandle native which can be used for saving most handle types.
- Added a JASS optimization dealing with global variable change events.
FIXES
- Fixed a few false positives caused by the "return bug" fix.
- Fixed a crash related to hashtable reference counting.
- "Shadowing" global variables with local variables no longer is possible.
- Fixed a type conversion dealing with operators (i.e. adding a handle with an integer).
