Myself and some of my quake live team mates/irl mates have pondered on the idea of forming a BC2 team.

We're randoms when it comes to BC2 comp play, however far from randoms when it comes competitive gaming in general. Most of our team members come from solid gaming back grounds spread across a multitude of games.

I'm wondering if anyone would be interested it chatting with us and giving us a general run down on BC2 comp play etc? general strats, comp structure etc.

Our overall aim is to field a team in BF3. Any experience we gain in BC2 would be a great advantage. Send me a PM if anyone out there would be willing to have a chat with me/the boys.

Are you looking to play Conquest or Squad rush?

I'd say Rush would be our preference, however in saying that if conquest is the primary comp mode then conquest.

What is the primary comp mode? Or both are as active as each other?

Conquest is the competitive mode for BF. Can't see that changing.

there is no 'primary' in bc2 atm, the scene is pretty much dead with just a few random teams playing cq/rush/sqr till bf3s out. the mode is as sereval said, conquest, so youll need a 10 person team if you want to compete.

sick with the bomb planting, requires more skill, decoys and chemistry, other then running around looking to frag like a spastic. oh god.

lmao typical attitude of 99% of cs and cod players that try bf. seriously dont bother then, youre wasting your time. sqr is a ******ed mode that was only introduced in bc2. doesnt sound like youve even played conquest outside of a pub?

Maybe a bit on BC2 maps but still not the case in BC2 even. Squad rush and rush focus more on the small level tactics whilst CQ is more about out manoeuvring your oppenents across the map and is just generally 1000 times better.

Rush is the special Olympics of game modes.

Attackers proceed through the corridor while the defenders wait at the door at the end of the corridor.

Sqd rush is fun but conquest is the over all bread winner.
