Just got a new computer, thing is - when I plug my Deathadder 3.5G in, its not being detected. The mouse works, I'm using it right now - Its just I can't use the drivers or update the firmware because its telling me it can't recognized a Deathadder being plugged in. I've tried different USB ports but still no luck. If you know what it is please tell me how I can fix it.

I think there's 2 different versions of the drivers, make sure you have the right one.

yeh ^ there's a v1 and v2..and also one called "Black edition" check on there site

Why the hell are you installing drivers in the first place..

Yeah install the drivers after you plugged in the DA

v1 you have to install the drivers. v2 the drivers auto install.

Install drivers, update to firmware 2.45, set the polling rate, set the dpi & uninstall drivers = profit.

Mine did over the top off my v1 driver

Don't install the drivers...all they do is add accel and shit you don't want.

Also, same as apex, my drivers never auto installed.

I'm glad I won't have to deal with any of that crap anymore, my Zowie EC1 ships on the 10th....stupid delays and european holidays.

i keep the drivers cause it feels better for me.

im gonna guess your on windows 7.. and the DRIVER dont install auto.. the basic ones will but im sure you cant change the dpi etc and get the whole panel auto.
