Ok I was randomly walking around ebgames just looking at stuff until I saw the Razer Blackwidow and thought that I can buy this keyboard because I had spare xbox 360 games that I didn't need cause my xbox got the rrod. So should I go and trade in my xbox games to get the keyboard or just get a mechanical keyboard from pccg.


I know that Razer keyboards are not recomended but I can trade in xbox games to make it cheaper. Just keep that in mind

man i used gaming keyboards at lans etc... i can't really say it makes much difference. "Mouse" does a bit but I still could play with a regular microsoft mouse without complaining really... That shits jst to rip u off i'd say dont even bother....

Got my mechanical keyboard from EB as I had store credit, I haven't looked back since, really like the keyboard

Get a Filco or Leopold, I own one of each and I couldn't really pick one over the other.

yeah i was thinking the same thing, but not about trading, just getting that KB.. i dont think that gaming keyboards make u play better, but they are alright, some of the features lighting etc..

For every day typing and feel, you can't go past a mechanical, some people (like me) also like the clicky sound made by the keys.

i dont tihnk its about making a difference, but in some way it could... with some of the mechanical keyboards having them respond faster as not as much force needed to push keys down. and with others all the other features, etc marcos, lighting, onboard profiles etc..

in the end comes down to what u need it for, and what $$ u have, and personal preference

If you want a mechanical keyboard and you're willing to pay for a Blackwidow and not a Filco, get a Leopold and have the switch of your choosing.

Razer keyboards are crap tbh.. get a g15 or g19.. the screen is very useful on there and keys light up..
