NZXT Phantom has a poor cooling layout.
Would recommend something else, I believe the CM HAF series are similarly priced?

Get this hard drive: http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=210_344&products_id=15490

And this ram:

More hz doesnt really give you cost efficiently and the timing increases anyway.

8Gig Ram Corsair vengeance 1600mhz C8

Case: NZXT Phantom Case Red
no way, terrible for air cooling, grab an FT02 or a raven etc

GFX Card: ASUS Radeon HD 6970 2GB
buy a 570, itll be better

HDD: Western Digital Caviar Black 2TB WD2002FAEX
hitachi 2tb sata 3 is your friend

Optical Drives: Samsung SH-B123A 12X Blu-ray DVD Combo Drive
dont really need bdrom, but whatever

asus p8z68-v mobo
intel i7-2600k, 2500k if your a tight arse
any half decent cooler will do, no need to spend more than about $50 on it
chuck in a corsair 60gb F3 sata3 boot drive
dont forget an OS
a strider 750-850w will be more than enough and provide option for sli etc later, 750 will do, 850 for headroom

Haters dont really hate you, they hate themselves because you're a reflection of what they wish to be.
