dmN glockZors : How do you feel this upcoming lineup will compare to past ex5 sides, are you having any trouble assembling a team? Or is there too many applicants?

eXile5.1mmort4l WD: We have had alot of applicants, and alot from different games such as COD and CS. I feel the current BC2 team struggles in the vehicle department, and am focusing more on BF veterans to complete the team. I feel the current lineup will at the very least be on the same level as the best eXile5 team to date, but the competition leading up to BF3 is proving to be of unbelievably high calibre. I am certainly looking forward to putting my experience behind the team to make sure we are as competitive as possible.

dmN glockZors: A few teams have taken on COD/CSS players, how do you feel they will fair against BF vets and what can they bring to a team?

eXile5.jezR: Well I came from playing CSS personally, and of course there was a learning curve. But there is always the crossover skill from other FPS games that will generally be there. I have no doubt that players coming across from other games will have the ability to put it to the best BF players around, at least on an infantry level.

dmN glockZors Other games are not familiar with the use of vehicles in matches, does this mean you are only seeking vehicle personal in the BF community?

eXile5.1mmort4l WD : I have put an emphasis on recruiting experienced BF players to control specific vehicles, as I feel the awareness of a Veteran Battlefield player far surpasses that of a non BF player, in a Battlefield game. I believe that map and field awareness are the most important aspect of a Vehicle specialist excelling. I am in no way saying that a non BF player would not in time be able to perform as well, but there is little time for training and practice at the start of BF3, in which the BF Veterans are of more importance to fill a vehicle role.

dmN glockZors: There is currently a large debate going on at CyberGamer whether the small format of 8v8/10v10 should be played or whether old school BF2 format of 16v16 should be employed. What are your thoughts and opinion on what should be run?

eXile5.1mmort4l WD : It is a great debate, and I love it! I am, as most BF people know, a Chopper whore from BF2, so it is only logical that I would want to go for what I loved most about BF2, and that was the full scale maps of 16v16! In reality, I doubt those days will be replicated as they were back in the day, but they were some fun times we all had! As far as being competitive goes, and if we talk about E-Sports, the game really cannot be more than 10v10. Championship Gaming League did well hosting BF2 tournaments, and they used 10v10 as the format, which seemed to work quite well. The obvious factor of large teams in E-Sports, is obviously the logistical challenges of transporting and accommodating that number of players, and having the appropriate infrastructure in place at the venue to also support it. In short, I think 10v10 will be likely.

dmN glockZors: Talnoy has thrown up the idea of a LAN based in Sydney, do you feel it would be necessary for BF teams to seek organisations to support them as the BF community are newcomers when it comes to LAN events and how do you think organisations will affect BF3?

eXile5.1mmort4l WD : The success of BF3's "E-Sports career" depends on BF teams supported by Org's. It is not possible for teams to consistently have 100% of players that are capable of paying for flights and accommodation out of their own pockets to go to LANS. It is also likely that in today's "age", sponsorships would be even harder to land for a team participating in only one game, so teams without Org's will likely be unable to secure sponsorships entitling them to travel expenses etc.

dmN glockZors : Who do you feel will be your biggest threat in BF3?

eXile5.1mmort4l WD: Obviously aK are the team on everyone's mind, but fvR are also looking extremely well rounded, and could easily cause some fuss. Teams such as dmN, also with some "all stars" present will be a force to be reckoned with, as well as Carnage being a definite contender. The strats and prep of Monpepe from OGA can't be ignored, and I could really name 7 teams that could well be in the top 5. It is exciting times.

eXile5.jezR: Anarchy Krew. No doubt. Coming from such a prestigious history it's hard for anyone to argue against them, when they have proven that can be dominant straight off the bat in previous versions of the BF series. With the talented players that they have, paired with the leadership of Redding, I have no doubt they will be the team that everyone is looking to beat. In saying that, you can't look past teams like fvR, dmN, oga, carnage etc, I think the competition is going to be really tight for the top spot when the game is finally released.

dmN glockZors: Name your top 5 sides

eXile5.jezR: In no particular order, for me it would be:
fvR - firewizard was always a solid player for aK in BC2 and will no doubt be a solid player for the fvR boys
Anarchy Krew - Amril, from memory he was an infantry beast, and I have no doubt he will continue to be.
dimensioN - How can it not be you glock babe?
Exile5 - I like meadow, he's always consistent and he's a beast fragger so it will be good to see how he goes in BF3
And I can't look past the kiwis, OGA to round out the top5 - How can anyone look past Foolio, he's a beast and will no doubt be one of the pivotal players for OGA.

eXile5.1mmort4l WD: Not in any specific order, but here we go.
OGA: An often overlooked team for some reason, but they literally flaunt an all star cast of players with ridiculous BF experience.
aK: Probably the only team with no "weak links", wouldn't tak a genuis to know they are the real deal
eXile5: A team with possibly the biggest talent pool of top players to potentially choose from, you can only assume their history of being amongst the top teams continues.
dmN: Another team with an all star cast, and likely plenty of infrastructure in place to support them, could definitely challenge the top 2 teams.
fvR: Some huge names shine through from this team, and potentially a huge talent pool of talented players chomping at the bit to get stuck into BF3, no doubt they will bring some pain to every single team.
