Hello.

I'm currently thinking about upgrading my system one piece at a time but I have no clue on what to do first especial due to the fact that I don't have a lot of money right now.

Would it be better for now to just purchase a decent CPU cooler and overclock it and if I did that would my terrible PSU be capable of doing so. At the moment I've managed to get it up to 3.95GHz before it runs way too hot (92c on max load) I'm also running an E6550 cooler.

Or should I just leave it as is?

inb4 bottlenecked system.

generic 530w PSU could pose a problem, especially when overclocking.

Probably better off waiting until you have $500 or so and do a decent upgrade all at once.

If you dont have much money, then it would be wise not to buy anything else...

Get a better psu..
Pehaps a cooler for some overclocks if you like.

from there the only other upgrades really worth doing would be a cpu/mobo/ram upgrade.

What exactly is a "rand overclock"?!?!

OT: I think I might just do that Kyrii.

Any suggestions on which cooler? I was thinking the CoolerMaster V8

I never did a bad overclock? It was the fact that I hadn't any motherboard drivers installed that it was overheating D:

Cause as soon as I popped them on, as well as the BIOS flash my CPU dropped like 30c

it went down to 30c because the bios update reset your overclock lol, i remember you telling me it reset it.

Well of course it's going to reset... IT DOES THAT WHEN YOU DO A BIOS FLASH.

EDIT: Then I overclocked afterwards and it was not overheating, thus proving that the updates helped.
