I don't get why no admins have considered a TF2 ladder or haven't let us know they've considered doing it.
Why is now the right time?
Team Fortress is now F2P (Free-To-Play), meaning you can play the FULL game for FREE.
The only disadvantages you have are some trading things...
The community grows daily, it
is bigger then the Australian Call of Duty 4 community yet they opened a HQ ladder just recently because of the 'high demand, and the success of auscod lately'.
The game runs on the same engine as CS:S, it doesn't neccesarily need an anti-cheat.
It's easy to use, with a simple in-game console command to change it to
Tournament Mode.
If there was a time, now would be the time to do it.
Team Fortress 2 is amazing game, it's fun, you don't have to rage, it's strategic, it's intense.
Ozfortress is the answer, but is it really? Only one decent league, once a year. The open league is no where near as proffesional, as Cybergamers ladders and what they could produce for the TF2 scene. It's all control point maps, fun & like Ive said... Growing FAST.
I don't get why the admins haven't considered it, and if they have give me a valid reason besides 'Ozfortress' 'We can't find admins' 'It's to hard to set up the ladder' (It's the exact same as source practically)
Cheers, Ollie.
