Well hey guys ive got 2k to spend on a pc 2.5k max.

Ive been looking at PCcasegear and i dont need a keyboard , mouse , headset , speakers.
but since im kinda bad at computer parts i was wondering what would be a really good pc i could get for 2k-2.5k
i looked at watercooling and all that stuff but i just want a really good idea on what i could get (i want a smexy case)

So if anyone has a good idea on what to get plz say and at the moment i have a ATI Radeon 4870 wondering if i shud keep that or not.

K thanks all!

There are 100 threads with the same type of build, just add 150 for a XSPC watercooling kit, or $300+ for a custom loop. But unless you need a watercooling loop generally a good cheap aircooler like... http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=207_23_845&products_id=15440 will cool a CPU sufficiently for a CPU based overclock wall..

4870 is useless.

I'm not reasearching parts for you, do your own reasearch like me and others do.

www.overclockers.com.au
www.tomshardware.com
www.anandtech.com.

Its not hard, look on www.pccasegear.com.au, find something you think might be decent, goto google and type the ****** in with review smacked on the end.

Wouldn't buy for another 2 months though because then you can decide if you wana go AMD for bulldozer or Intel for Ivy but heres an idea so you can compare

HDD: Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TBx2 RAID 0 - $118
CASE: Thermaltake Level 10 GT Case(for some fun)- $299 or Silverstone Fortress FT02B with Window - $249
CPU: i5 2500k $219
CPU COOLER: XSPC Rasa 750 RX240 Universal CPU Water Cooling Kit ~$165 or Noctua NH-U12P SE2 ~$85
SSD: OCZ Vertex 2 3.5in 120GB SSD-$195
MOBO: ASUS P8P67 PRO Motherboard B3 - $195
PSU Enermax Revolution85+ 1250W-$279
GPU: ASUS GeForce GTX 580 DirectCU II - $549
OS: Windows 7 64bit - $105
OPTICAL DRIVE: Samsung SH-222AB SATA DVDRW Drive - $22
RAM: Corsair CML16GX3M4A1600C9 16GB (4x4GB) Vengeance DDR3 -$175

Total: Less than 2300 so either drop your ram down and chuck in another gtx580 or get a bigger ssd

I loved the part where you offer no helpful criticism but instead point out the fact i have made a mistake in your eyes
