Was just wondering if there will be finals for both Conquest and Squad Rush before the release of the BF3 Beta. I reckon once the beta is out what little life BF:BC2 has in it competitively will be completely drained. I think it would be good to have a finals series before the beta that way we can properly close the game within CG.

What do you reckon?

Oh yeah I didn't notice that, thanks mate. I know if there were to be finals for Conquest this month it would be a very short season however as I said in my OP it is unlikely that there will any teams at all competing in this game come the BF3 beta and certainly noone when it comes out for BF3, I would be very surprised to see a team on the ladder now who wants to play BC2 for the long term, most teams are just playing it "for something to do" or to prepare for BF3 both of which apply to my team. It will be a good way to finalise both ladders competitively with a finals series. There have been some changes to the top 8 in Conquest so I don't think it will be a repeat of last seasons finals in any case.

Agree with what you're saying though. No matter how short the season, if clans have been challenging and shuffling for position on that ladder, finish it up before BF3 or it will most likely die on BF3 beta release.

8V8 ladder is in free play mode. it has been since the completion of its last season... the ladder is predominantly dead. Finals in 8v8 are not a reality.
