Welcome to the Steel Series Black Ops Leagues Season 2 Report for Round 5
This report will be released weekly detailing each previous and upcoming round, highlights, predictions, general comments, videos and so forth! Expect a lot of work out of our Leagues Content team as they cover 32 teams and 220 matches for the entirety of the Leagues! Each report will cover all 4 leagues.
Again, we'd like to take this opportunity to thank the community, CG staff and of course SteelSeries for their great contributions. We look forward to covering some amazing matches during the Leagues. Good luck to all those competing!

Hanoi is a medium sized prison setting, with a prison and then streets outside. It is a night time map, therefore it is quite dark. The location of the map is a North Vietnamese Army prison, possibly based on the real-life Hanoi Hilton. With the map being a medium size this map is played out totally different to the previous map summit. Players will need to clear up theater room that over looks one bomb site, and is very close to the other. The team who can take control of theater room, should take the win.

Upcoming Matches & Predictions
ArchaicMSI Esports vs Fury
Write-up: Archaic will come into this one with 100% confidence as they remain undefeated in the competition. After a hard fought win over Taunted last round, they will have the belief that they can come from an deficit to win, which will only make them a stronger force. Fury will be determined to bounce back from a drubbing at the hands of 5down last round. A win could leap them into the top 3 and put them on their way to a finals position. They will need to get themselves sorted early for this one if they wish to have any chance of overcoming the Archaic powerhouse.
Prediction: 16-10 Archaic
Taunted: Five Down vs Second Nature
Write-up: Fivedown are off to a flying start to the season and will be looking to continue their great form here. After some outstanding performances in the past few weeks, they will be looking to forward their momentum and keep their place in the top 2. Second Nature are coming off their 1st win of the season and with growing confidence, will be looking to grab another win. Although faced with a tough ask, they will surely put in 110% to cause an upset, and shake up the competition.
Prediction: 16-8 Taunted: Five Down
Taunted v Mindfreak
Write-up: One blockbuster of a match will be showcased here and both teams need to win for very different reason. Taunted will be determined to win as a loss would spell the end of their finals hopes. Mindfreak will be looking to cement a finals and potential top 2 position if they were to win. Both teams have the ability to outplay and outclass one another and will no doubt be willing to put it all on the line here. After many tight, epic battles last season on a number of occasions, one would only expect the same here.
Prediction: Taunted 13-12
Malice v Exposure
Write-up: Malice are coming off a tough loss at the hands of Mindfreak but will be extremely confident they can bounce back. Exposure came off another tough loss last round and will be determined to put a win on the board. Both teams have a lot of skill in all departments but Malice seem to have the edge as far as depth goes. Exposure are really in the same boat as fury as they will need to prep hard and sort themselves early to have any chance of upsetting the might of Malice.
Prediction: Prediction: 15-10 Malice.
Upcoming Matches & Predictions
uproaR vs vVv Despize
Write-up: UproaR a breezing through this season undefeated so far and this week go up against a struggling Despize. Despize have been struggling for the majority of the season, and label connection issues as well as player availability as their major problems. Although the majority of the community would tip for uproar to demoralize Despize, i'm going out on a gut feeling this week and punting my money on despize. Uproar have to lose at some stage ( well maybe 
) and Despize will eventually break this losing streak they're on and i think this is the week they'll do it.
This match should be a good one, with close hard-fought rounds.
Prediction: 14 -12 Despize's way
Audacity E-Sports vs ProXimity: Team 1
Write-up: Not much to really say for this match. ProX have continually struggled this season and are yet to win a match. They're coming up against a strong team in audacity, who with their new recruits, should make short work of ProX this week. Hopefully ProX's 2 recruits ( Impulse au and pow gang ) will add some spark and reignite Prox's season, but i just dont see this happening, at least not this week against finals contenders Audacity.
Prediction: 16 - 8 Audacity E-sports's way
[SYF] Gaming Vs. Super Heroes in Training
Write-up: Both teams will be coming into this matchup as victors from last weeks matches. THey are both pretty equal on the ladder, with a small round differential separating them from their respective positions. I expect SHjT to have some really good rushes and a solid well drilled defence. Not that [SYF] wont have their own equally good plays.
This will be an extremely close match which i think will head into overtime.
Prediction: 18 - 16 Super Heroes in Training's way.
Taunted: baw5 Vs. Second Nature: Team-DSR
Write-up: With 4 teams tied on the ladder with 2 wins its getting closer to finals and teams need to start making a charge for the top 4 so they can continue onto the finals. Both these team will be looking to do that, only a handful of rounds separate them on the ladder so the competition is as tight as ever. Baw5 came off a super close loss ( only by 1 round 
) last week against Audacity and this week will work to fine tune those little mistakes that would have cost them the match. 2N however got there asses handed to them by uproaR and will be looking to reconfirm themselves as finals contenders.
Rushes will be coming from left right and centre with these teams, so keep an eye out for lots out doubles and triples. However i think Baw5 will come away the victors this week.

Upcoming Matches & Predictions
Taunted: Aspire Vs. Paradox
Write-up: We are now half way through the leagues, and with Paradox losing to Proximity by a large margin, they will surely be looking to gain some dignity back and push themselves amongst the top 4 for that chance of finals. Although they are coming up against without a doubt the strongest team in the comp, Aspire. Aspire continue their winning streak after defeating vVv Afterlife last week and don't seem to be slowing down at all. With that said, Paradox really need this win, but I can't see them overcoming Aspire.
Prediction: 16-10 Aspire's way. (Prediction by Blazin)
Afternoon Ass Vs. 1SK: BLACK
Write-up: Both teams sitting near the bottom of the ladder, they will be looking to take home another much needed win to keep their finals hopes alive. Afternoon Ass are the favourites, partly due to their much more experienced line-up and larger community support, and I think they will come out on top in this one.
Prediction: 15-11 ASS's way.
Exclusive Vs. Proximity: Team 2
Write-up: With both teams currently going 3-1, this match will be highly competitive and a match to see. But with Exclusive having the better round difference from other CGa matches, they're indeed the favourite. But don't take the boys of Proximity out just yet, as they are looking to prove those wrong.
Prediction: 16-13 Exclusive's way. (Prediction by Elite 1SK)
LastRites vs Afterlife
Write-up: Both teams come in to this match after suffering losses last round. Afterlife fell short of an upset win over Aspire but would have gained much from the match. Last rights were beaten comprehensively by 1sk but will surely bounce back and look to grab a win by upsetting Afterlife. Last rights have a lot of experience but I just don't think they will be able to match it with the youth and form that Afterlife have.
Prediction: 16-9 Afterlife

Upcoming Matches & Predictions
#Team.Impact vs Vorpal
Write-up: Vorpal currently at last place of CGd, are looking to put some points on the board and score a win. But they have indeed been matched up with the boys of Impact, who have secured a spot in the finals and are looking to put their name in gold with a flawless season. Vorpal could come back with a win or two yet!
Prediction: 16- 13 Impacts way ~ Katiee.16-10 Impact's way ~ Elitee.
Cruelty Incarnate vs Volume
Write-up: Now this will be a very interesting match! Cruelty Incarnate have gone off to an absolutely fantastic start at these leagues, not losing one match yet! Cruelty Incarnate could definitely be the winners of CGd! Volume have also been going quite well, having strong wins on their last two matches on Havana and Villa. Hanoi being a fairly familiar map within the competitive side should be interesting to see. It is believed that Cruelty Incarnate will win this match.
Prediction: 16-12 Cruelty Incarnate
Stay Moist vs QUADPLAY: Relapse
Write-up: QUADPLAY have experienced a few wins and a few losses, but have sure shown that they are a strong team in CGd. Stay Moist are a very new team with experienced players. The outcome of this game will be interesting. Although Hanoi is played quite often, it is believed that QUADPLAY will take the win.
Prediction: 16-9 QUADPLAY's way
Phenom vs Mayhem eSports: Chaos
Write-up: With Chaos currently 3rd in their league, they will be fighting for a secured spot in the finals. With 2 other teams going 2-2 also, they will need to get a big win. But Phenom also thirsty for blood, I'm sure they will try to stop that outcome and get some points of their own to try and sneak a spot of finals.
Prediction: 16 - 12 Chao's way ~ Katiee. 16-10 Chaos's way ~ Elitee
