Even though only a few teams actually play this ladder with MW3 coming out soon I can see more people going back to this game. So I think it's time the ruleset got updated to the make matches more competitive.

I'd like to see FMJ banned on the ladder since it was banned for leagues, the P2P and MW2 PUGS. Half Health + FMJ = No cover.

Secondly with the introduction of 5 sec plants/ diffuses in B.O, maybe it would be good to implement it in MW2 and maybe even the other COD's.

This thread isn't about how much I know, it's about FMJ being banned for everything then not edited into the CGo ruleset.

it got banned after s1 for leagues and then for the P2P but the Admins never edited it into the CGo ladder because of the skill gap or something like that. So what I'm saying now is that since CGo is the only MW2 comp FMJ should be banned for it.

ATM it's banned for PUGs but not matches.

I know for a fact that MW2 Pugs are becoming more active. My team may become more active on this ladder as well.

As for FMJ, its the epitome of bullshit when we have half health. Probably get it banned because of how OP it is.

The ruleset was good. Please don't try and make it more like Black Ops.

FMJ needs to go every team i have vs'd lately have been using TAR-21 FMJ and its Fu**in annyoing

The argument of policing was brought up and its simple. Get proof that there using it and they'll be banned for using 'a banned attachment'. It's not like you can't tell that its on.

It wasn't not banned due to 'skill-gap' it wasn't banned because it's ridiculously hard to tell if its on or not. Disputes about FMJ would be ridiculous and honestly isn't worth the admins time.

Not to mention it's hard to prove either way since there's no such thing as theatre in MW2.

Who cares to be honest. Old game and it isnt worth admins wasting time sorting through disputes, just play the game as is atm then sort out rules for mw3. easy peasy lemon squeezy.

ATM there is only 10-15 teams that actually play matches. There won't be many if any disputes considering how few matches are actually played. If teams can't get proof then just end the dispute.

TBH I don't know how you can say it's hard to tell if someone has it on. Buzzin stop post boosting, you don't play the game so don't post.

It's not hard when you're watching someone from their perspective, but if you're playing opposite them it's pretty difficult and people sometimes see things that aren't actually there

We're not changing the rules now for CGo, FMJ will stay unbanned, it'll of course remain banned for any future P2P comps we run though.

Just doesn't make sense/help us in anyway to change it now.
