Now this might seem a bit far fetched, but after all it is a forum to discuss things so why not?

I was thinking about this after watching and looking at Razmac's "Why do we need a week video and thread"

Ok, So what if Cybergamer got rid of 5v5 as a whole for Modern Warefare 3? And just supported 4v4 competitions like Decerto does. What would YOU do? Would you then play 4v4 hard out to be the best, play casually because its 4v4s? or even quit?



I was thinking about the teams and players on this site, and we have easily enough people in this community to double the EU scene in teams. Now how would that change the community? Would we then see more teams at lan because 4v4 is all people could play? Or would we see the same because people would quit? I personally would love to this because we have some great quality players in top Search and destroy teams who would be boss as 4v4 if they played, and im sure if anyone of them out in the effort like they do for Search and destroy they could catch us and other teams that play at the moment.

So have a think and post wisely I dont want to see any "5v5 > 4v4" posts, just have an open mind and think outside the box for once.

Personally after going to L.A and just playing 4s more just getting more of a like to the game, 5v5 could still stay, but if there was to be more prizes involved i would put it all into 4s not 5s.

i think what they could do if they wanted to make it more of 4v4 game is get rid of Leagues and simply just keep it as CGo for every team then bring leagues into 4v4. But to be honest i think it would be hard just on the fact that everyone is so into 5v5's but it could be possible.

It would be good a way for the people that already play 4s or actually enjoy it, but using myself as an example, I mainly play search and have only just started a 4s team so if there was no 5v5 ladder I would probz either find another site or quit.

I play search because I love to play it. What you are suggesting in my mind is to force everyone that hate it or love it to play 4s regardless, just so we can have more ppl at LANs or be like MLG. I personally like the way CG is and I think that Search is a great gametype.

Whether we play 4s or not should be our decision not yours or CGs.

And yes!! The LANS would be amazing!

Edit~ All a what if ANZAK, But im pretty sure its getting clearer and clearer each comp we have that 4v4 is the way of the future.

I think the game type of 4v4 is still growing. Considering it was hardly even mentioned this time last year. New game coming out soon, it will continue to grow. No doubt S&D will always be around, unless the admins **** the rules up totally which I don't see it happening because this isn't PS3.

Exactly the same for me. I would not play 4's, I hate everything about them.

Look at them in the current P2P without any prep , so without a doubt.
