hey guys, ive started lookign at hardstyle techno.. got one song, only new and not finished yet, but can you guys tell me whats good whats bad, if its terrible etc.

I actually use Reason 4 every day producing and playing around with songs, usually more trancey, hard trance stuff.

I think it sounds good, but you really need to work on transitions of sounds. The use of snares and a snare fill can be used in conjunction with crashes and reverse crashes to create a simple transition.

Just work more on the basics, and just a question, what program are you using.

Yeh that was more trance, hardstyle is harder and faster.

What program did you use to make that fl studio or what?!

is reason a program where you can make your own samples? or do you use premades and just sequence?

A few examples

you go from 1 beat, to a completely different beat straight away, and doesnt sound very good. try mixing them in and making it flow
